Biography
Graduated in Medicine cum laude (1980) at University of “G. D’Annunzio†School of Medicine, Chieti, Italy, Dr. Arduini spent several years in various prestigious academic centers in the U.S. and in Italy (1981-1998). Afterword, Dr. Arduini left academia and joined Pharma Industry as head of the department of Metabolic Diseases in Sigma Tau Pharmaceutical Industries, Pomezia, Italy, and as disease area head of the department of Metabolic Diseases in Hoffman-La Roche, Basel, Switzerland. More recently, Dr. Arduini founded a couple of successful companies in Italy (Glomeria Therapeutics) and Switzerland (CoreQuest) engaged in the R&D and marketing of an innovative therapeutic platforms for the treatment of kidney and cardiac failure.
